This collection contains Bingham County, Idaho records provided by the Bingham County Historical Society. Records include the following:

  • Abstract Land Department Idaho 1893-1909
  • Assessment Roll 1890
  • Tax Collectors Register and Ledger 4 1898-1899
  • Jail Records, Vol 1, 1885-1907

Compare each result from your search with what you know to determine if there is a match. This may require viewing multiple records or images. Keep track of your research in a research log.

  • Add any new information to your records
  • Use the information found in the county records to search for the family in census records
  • Search for vital records, such as birth, marriage, and death on the state and county level
  • Search Bingham County for land and property records

I Can’t Find the Person I’m Looking For, What Now?[edit | edit source]

  • If your ancestor does not have a common name, collect entries for every person who has the same surname. This list can help you find possible relatives
