Finding Colorado Marriage Records[edit | edit source]
Colorado was admitted to the Union as the state 38th state in 1876 and is known as the Centennial State. Registration of marriages with the County Clerk and Recorder was not required until 1881 yet many earlier records do exist.
More marriage information is usually found on the marriage license application or the marriage register. Less information is found on the marriage certificate. |
