Hognaston is an Ecclesiastical Parish in the county of Derbyshire, created early from chapelry in Ashbourne with Mapleton, Derbyshire Ecclesiastical Parish.
HOGNASTON, a parish, in the hundred of Wirksworth, S. division of the county of Derby, 5 miles (S. W. by W.) from Wirksworth. There is a place of worship for Primitive Methodists. [1]
