Media[edit | edit source]

1. Click on "Search" tab:

2. In the search box below the Search tab, copy and paste an image from the Wiki data base. Remember, if you have your own image, you need to submit it for approval.

3. Click on the image itself.

3. Clicking on the image makes this edit box appear.

4. If you are satisfied with the image, click on the blue tab "Use this image."

6. Clicking on "Use this image" brings up this edit box:

7. The "General settings" has a background color of gray. Here under "caption" you can add a caption.

8. Next click "Advance settings" and you will see this edit box.

8.1 Notice the "Wrap text around this item" box is checked. This allows the text to wrap around the image. If you do not want the text to wrap around the image, uncheck this box.
8.2 The next line of items allows you to place image either to the left side of the page, or in the middle or on the right side of the page.
8.3 The next line lets you chose how the image will be displayed; whether you want a frame around the image for example. You can try them all out to see which one you like.
8.4 The next line allows to you set the size of the image. You can let the browser set the size or customize or allow image to appear full size.

9. After these decisions, click on blue tab "Insert."

10. The image will now appear as shown with a light blue tint along with a edit box below. Here you have another chance to edit the image. By clicking on the Edit tab, you will be taken back to step 6 where you can redo the image or it's location if it is not to your liking.

11. Otherwise, if you do like the image and it's location, click on the tinted image and it will appear as it normally should.
