  • What do you do when you have covered up the edit this page box and you can't get back in to correct the page? You have edit tab at the very top of the page next to talk and history.
    • If you cover up the save button at the bottom of the page, Click the History tab the top of the page and do a roll back.

Moderators and Adopters[edit | edit source]

Is there anything updated that moderators need to know? wants to work with others so it is more like a team or a group. Items in local libraries.

  • Adding class handouts to the FHC pages. Permission received from the teacher. Suggestions include external links to the handout or creating a sub-page. Example given Https://familysearch.org/wiki/en/Los Angeles FamilySearch Library. Jane Colemenares will assist Julie Hammons in completing this task.

Wiki Content[edit | edit source]

County libraries, look at their internet pages, get to know what resources they have. Go there if possible. Find things that are not online but compliment. Archives of the state, get online and manuscript info. Guides you can download and learn about more resources.

Resources for documenting wills and probate records: wiki users may not know there are additional or later records on microfilm or other formats. Give description of how to use. Look to where the entire collection is. Including courthouses. Special collections and others.

How can we help people want to contribute links to their databases, information. Perhaps they could create a page that informs people what they have, events.

Genealogy societies could make pages as well. Adopt pages.
