What is in This Collection?[edit | edit source]

Church of England parish registers for the county of Middlesex containing christening, marriage, and burial entries that took place in the county of Derbyshire from 1538 to 1916. Records may include: name, parents, spouse, father's occupation, residence, date of birth, date of marriage, burial date and place and much more depending on the record type.

  • Name of the child
  • Date and place of christening
  • May include name of parents

Marriage

  • Names of the bride and groom
  • Date and place of marriage

Burial

  • Name of the deceased
  • Date and place of burial
  • May include age and estimated birth year
