Chapelry History[edit | edit source]

"CHORLTON-UPON-MEDLOCK, St Ambrose was created a district chapel in 1884, taken from and lying within the parish boundaries of Manchester ancient Parish. All Saints' (included 7 other chapelries in this township).[1]
