Historical[edit | edit source]

Many of the original records of church units are in the Church History Library in Salt Lake City. Many of the membership records covering these units from the date of their creation to about 1948 have been microfilmed and are available at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City or at its Family History Centers.  Records of the Cambridge Ward(1891-1948) are found in this collection.

History[edit | edit source]

Fred H. Aldous, William C. Jackson and Cyrus Coffin arrived on Nine Mile Creek in 1870, on which Cambridge in located. In 1891 Nine Mile Creek constituted a part of Marsh Valley. On Nov 4, 1891 the town was named Cambridge after Cambridge in England.
