Group Visit Opportunities[edit | edit source]

We are pleased to offer the opportunity for individuals, organizations, and others to schedule a visit to our facility. We offer a variety of options that are sure to provide interest to your group during our regular hours. Additionally we offer evening options by appointment only, including tours of the facility, finding names for temple work, introduction to indexing or family search, or reserving our discovery screens for evening groups. Appointments must be made at least one week in advance to allow for us to ensure there are sufficient consultants to accomplish the purposes of your visit. Please call to schedule a visit.

To ensure maximum enjoyment of our discovery screens as part of our group visit, accounts are needed for everyone. It's best if the accounts are set up prior to the visit. Church accounts for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, or FamilySearch accounts for others wishing to use FamilySearch.  All accounts are free.

For Family Search accounts-  go to familysearch.org and click the "create account."   Click here.  All that is required is a name and birthdate.   You will be asked for a cell phone number or email to receive the activate code for creating your free account.

For Church accounts- for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, this would be a Church Account.  Your account will be associated with your Membership Record Number (MRN).   To create an account online.  Click here. You will be asked to provide your name, birthdate and MRN.  An activation code will be sent to your phone or your email- whichever you choose.  Your MRN may be on your temple recommend or can be provided by their ward clerk. Youth 8-12 years old (under 13) will also need permission from a parent and the parent's MRN.

If you need assistance in setting up an account, please come to the center prior to your group visit.
