Parish History

St Gabriel Bromley was established and operating by the year 1869, laying within the civil parish boundaries of St Leonard Bromley.

BROMLEY-ST.-LEONARD, is a parish in Poplar district, Middlesex; on the river Lea, the Limehouse cut, 3¾ miles ENE of St. Paul's, London. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of London. St. Michael and St. Leonard's chapel, St. Gabriel, and St. Andrew are separate benefices.[1]
