The Armenian Genealogical Society has been involved for twenty years in filming Armenian records around the world. They made the first contact with the State Historical Archive during the communist period and acquired some films of death records in 1986.

- The goal of the SAS is to promote the study of Armenian culture and society, including history, language, and literature. The Society was founded in 1974 by a group of scholars from the universities of California, Columbia and Harvard. It is dedicated to the development of Armenian Studies as an academic discipline.
- The Armenian Society is a group of students who are interested in Armenian history, language, and culture. The Society organizes events each year to display the rich historical, linguistic, and cultural heritage of the Armenians.
Other Societies[edit | edit source]
- The Society was founded by Armenian students at the University College in London. The goal of the Society is to provide an opportunity to learn about the country's historical and cultural values.
