Lis Allen Walker

Lis Allen Walker is a librarian, historian, and content manager for the Church History Biographical Database. She has worked for the Church History Department for more than a decade and has spent time researching numerous topics including Church leadership, early-Latter-day Saint midwives, Church magazines 1971-present, and the contributions of stonemasons to the building of the Salt Lake Temple. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Weber State University and a master’s degree from San Jose State University. She lives near Salt Lake City, Utah with her husband and son.
