Ammon Smith

Ammon Smith is a junior at Brigham Young University majoring in genealogy, with an anticipated graduation in April 2027. He specializes in Latin American genealogical research, focusing on the Spanish Caribbean: Cuba, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic. He is currently preparing to become an accredited genealogist in this region. Ammon is fluent in Spanish and has paleographic training in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Italian. His other research interests include the Spanish Inquisition, Crypto-Jews, and Latinos in the United States.
