Land valuation records are an important source for Irish genealogical research due to the loss of the majority of nineteenth century census returns. In this session, we will look at Griffith’s Valuation, valuation revision (cancelled) books and tithe applotment books, all of which can help identify where ancestors were living in Ireland in the nineteenth century.
