Gerd-Christian Th. Treutler

Gerd-Christian Th. Treutler, born in 1965, studied at the Humboldt University in Berlin and the University of Potsdam. As a historian M. A., he works in the field of regional history of Brandenburg, where he is currently completing his doctorate on the economic policy of King Frederick William I of Prussia. His research focuses on economic and social history of the 18th century as well as on family and personal history, in which he has published several times. He is the founding chairman of the Brandenburg Genealogical Society "Red Eagle" inc.
