Using Family History to Help Missionaries

In many countries, people might not have an immediately warm feeling toward religion, but everyone feels strong warmth and love toward their ancestors. Family history can be a powerful way to help people feel the Spirit of Elijah and open their hearts to the message of the gospel. This class will describe ways that family history can facilitate missionary lessons to new investigators, help new converts locate family names to take to the temple, and open up our own personal missionary experiences. The class will provide practical approaches for how these ideas can be implemented in most missions throughout the world.
