Joseph Nowacki Joseph Nowacki, 79, Route 3, Athens, died in the Wausau hospital at 6:25 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. Nowacki was a farmer and lumberman. He was born March 3, 1901, in town of Rietbrock, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Nowacki. On Oct. 19, 1926, in Poniatowski, he married Hattie Soczka. She survives. Other survivors include four sons, Edward, Park Rapids, Minn., Harvey, Milwaukee, Hilary, 804-1/2 Scott St., Wausau, and Dennis, Route 3, Athens; two daughters, Mrs. Donald Aschbrenner, Detroit Lake, Minn., and Mrs. Robert Held, Columbus, Ohio; five brothers, John, Marshfield, Theodore, Athens, Frank, Route 1, Athens, Benny, Central Point, Ore., and George, Wittenberg; six sisters, Mrs. Paul Anklam, 404 Crescent Drive., Mrs. John Koehler, 1010 Maple St., Mrs. Katherine Krolikowski, 102 Eldred Drive, Mrs. Wilbur Damp, 929 S. 13th Ave., Mrs. Orville Krueger, 309 Spruce St., all of Wausau, and Mrs. Warren Ohm, Great Falls, Mt.; and 19 grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Athens. The Rev. Stephen Gross will officiate and burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Athens.
