Winnie Elizabeth Hollingsworth Gabbard, 88, of Springdale went to be with her Lord on Friday, Sept. 12, 2008.
She was born on April 3, 1920, in Havana to Guy L. and Erin Askew Hollingsworth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Gabbard; two brothers, Warren Hollingsworth and L.D. Hollingsworth; and a sister, Eleanor Hollingsworth McCain.

She is survived by two brothers, Guy Hollingsworth of Springdale and Woodrow Hollingsworth, both of Fittstown, Okla.; three stepchildren, James H. Gabbard of Holland, Ark., Don R. Gabbard of Tulsa, Okla., and Linda Gabbard Arterburn of Fayetteville; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was a retired licensed nurse practitioner and was a longtime member of Sang Avenue Baptist Church.

Visitation will be from 5- 7 p.m. Tuesday at Moore's Funeral Chapel.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Comfort Cemetery in Fayetteville.
