Mary Christison dies Thursday

Mary Leslie Christison, 86, died Thursday evening at Western Care Nursing Home.

She was born in Dundee, Scotland and married Andrew M. Chrisitson in 1903 at White Sulphur Springs. They ranched in the area until 1949, when they moved to Bozeman where they celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary.

Mrs. Christison is survived by four children, Mrs. George Janette Eaton of California, Leslie Christison of Great Falls, Mrs. George Ruby Reed of Helena and Archie Christison of Helena, two brothers, Walter Doig of Townsend and David B. Doig of Arizona; a sister, Nelly Shanks of California; 14 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Connors Mortuary in Townsend with the Rev. Bob Ohnstad officiating. Burial will be at Deep Creek Cemetery.
