Kevin was born June 7, 1957 in Manhattan, KS to Gerald and Suzanne Bergen. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve. Following his time in the military, Kevin had a long career in the automotive industry as both a mechanic and a salesman. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, working on cars, learning about American history and WWII, and talking to just about everyone he ever met. He was very proud of his country and participated in the Patriot Guard to help honor other soldiers. His greatest joy however was spending time with his friends and family particularly his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Gerald Bergen of Topeka, KS. His paternal grandparents, Walter and Marion Bergen of Marysville, KS and his maternal grandparents Frank and Faye Kepner of Granburg, TX. He is survived by his wife Michele Mossey-Bergen, mother Suzanne Bergen, son Jeremy (Debbie) Bergen, son Christopher (Anna) Bergen, four grandchildren; Miah, Walker, Marshall and Marley Bergen. Sister Jeri Sue James, sister Kirsten Bergen, step brother Alan (Dianna) Moberly and his family, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
