William Dempsey Lewis was born 23 May 1867 in Horry County, South Carolina. His parents were Isaac Lewis and Winnie Jean Booth. He married Margaret McNeil Tyler 16 November 1892. They had eleven children. William died in 1944. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in South Carolina.

Includes Becht, Royals and related families.
