Jesse Pew Williams (1793-1847) married Cynthia Marler and moved from Lincoln County, North Carolina to Spartanburg, South Carolina, then to Lincoln County and Bedford County, Tennessee, and then to Fannin County, Texas. Descendants lived in South Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas and elsewhere.
