Thomas Wright was probably born in England before 1717. He married Mary in about 1732, probably in Baltimore, Maryland. They had eight children. They were living in Virginia by 1745. Thomas died in about 1763 in Bedford County, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, Indiana, Arkansas, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas.
