Hans Ulric Schleich, the son of Carl and Anna Barbara? Schleich, was born 3-26-1705 in Germany. Hans married Anna Barbara Senck who was born ca. 1725 in Germany. They and their children emigrated to Charleston, South Carolina, 9-19-1752.

William Lee, the son of Sir John Lee, Knight of England, and Joyce Romney, came to America on the ship Assurance de Lo on 24 July 1635. His older brother was Richard Lee, and ancestor of Civil War general Robert E. Lee. William married Mary ____ ca. 1637 & had 1 son, William II. Jonathon Lee, the son of William Lee IV & Sarah _____ was born in Virginia in 1751. In 1770, Jonathon came with his father, William IV, and settled in Berkeley Precinct, South Carolina. Records indicate that John married, ca. 1794, Hannah Cooper, daughter of William & Lydia Clark Cooper. They had 5 sons and 5 daughters. Jonathon Lee died 11-14-1823 in Union County, South Carolina. Hannah died 5-14-1830.
