Ancestral families of Cyril George and Elvina Isabelle Haskins Humphrey. Cyril George Humphrey was born in Washington County, Indiana in 1896, the son of Franklin Milton Humphrey (1872-1954) and Laura Winslow Humphrey (1875-1902). He married 1) Leva Calloway (1898-1927), daughter of Leonare and Amanda Early Calloway. They had two children, 1918-1920, born at Salem, Indiana. He married 2) Elvina Isabelle Hawkins in 1928 at Elma, Washington. They had five children, 1929-1941, the oldest born at McCleary, Washington, the others at Salem, Indiana. Elvina Isabell Haskins was born in 1908 at Elma, Washington, the daughter of Arthur Sabin Hawkins (1871- 1921) and Minnie Mary Elizabeth Castile Hawkins (1887-1915).

Ancestors include Thomas Winslow (ca. 1687-after 1745) of Perquimans County, North Carolina; Abner B. Haskins (1801-1861) of New York and Indiana; and John Humphrey (1812-1874) of Virginia and Jackson County, Indiana.
