Contains the history of the Westchester Refugees (also known as Delancey's Volunteers and other variant names) as a cavalry and light infantry unit in Westchester County, New York under the British Army during the Revolutionary War and their later settlement in Nova Scotia, particularly in the Cumberland County area. Includes copies of their claims as loyalists who served in the War made from 1786 to 1788.
