Information inadvertently omitted in the revised vol. 2-C: Fuller, Helene (Jeremie & Elizabeth Kitley - now remarried to Samuel Weller) bt. 25 June 1867 at age 38 yrs. [1829] (NI ch.: v.1, p. 348) Information inadvertently omitted in the revised vol. 2-B: Robertson, William b. 2 April 1819; bt. 29 June 1851 (NI Ch.: Epiphany Ch. Records: p.3) Also, due to an error, the index in regard to pages 793 thru 962 in vol. 2-C is "completely wrong." The compiler will send out a corrected separate index at a later time.

Includes baptisms, marriages & deaths.

The new edition includes more information than the previous editon & also includes information from outside the 2 (then 1) parishes. Other information, other than vital, from notorial and courthouse records is included.

Covers the Diocese of Lafayette which included the present-day Diocese of Lake Charles. The civil parishes included in this area are: Acadia, Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron, Evangeline, Iberia, Jefferson Davis, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin & St. Mary (west of the Atchafalaya River), and Vermilion.
