Contains early Goshenhoppen registers 1 & 2, 1740-1785. Contains baptisms, marriages, and burials. The first item in the collection is the index. This is in alphabetical order. These records cover several counties in Pennsylvania (Bucks, Berks, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Northampton and the area that became Lehigh County, and Hunterdon County, New Jersey. They include church history and consist chiefly of the information in the registers arranged by time period and not alphabetically. These are the oldest Catholic records known to be in existence for the places and the time period covered.

Goshenhoppen is now Bally in Berks County.
