Abraham Thomas was born in 1755 in Culpepper County, Virginia. He joined in expeditions against the Indians, 1774-1775, 1780-1782. He married Susannah Smith at Red Stone Fort, Pennsylvania, or in Culpepper County in 1775. Susannah Thomas died in Miami County, Indiana, in 1821. He married 2) Mary, widow of Rice Swailes, in Miami County in 1821. He died in Miami County in 1843.
