Elisha Smith was born ca. 1814 in Washington Co., Virginia. He married Cynthia Hall 27 November 1834 in Lee Co., Virginia. Cynthia died ca. 1867 and Elisha married Amanda Davis ca. 1868. Elisha lived in Claiborne Co., Tennessee and was the father of fifteen children. Descendants lived primarily in Tennessee.
