Skifteprotokollene omfatter som regel datoen på skiftet, navnet på den som døde, arvingene, formyndere og verger, dødsboet og eiendom m.m. They include these places: Sokndal, Lund, Heskestad, Helleland, Bjerkreim, Egersund, Ogna, Varhaug, Nærbø, Klepp, Lye (Time), Gjestal, Høyland, Sandnes, Hetland, Randaberg, Sola, Hå, Håland and Madla. For later probate records see the separated Jæren judicial district and Dalane judicial district.
