Contains records of the Fourth Church of Christ in Bridgewater, the North Parish or Precinct of Bridgewater, and the First Congregational Church and Parish in North Bridgewater. The records of the North Parish include some records of town affairs.

In 1821 the North Parish of Bridgewater became the town of North Bridgewater. The name of the town of North Bridgewater was changed to Brockton in 1874.
