Johann Friedrich Reitz (b.1721) was the son of Johannes Peter Reitz and Magdalena Weygand of Lohrhaupten, Gelnhausen, Germany. He married Anna Margaretha Steigerwalt, daughter of Melchior Steigerwalt of Flörsbach. They emigrated and settled in Lehigh Co., Pennsylvania in 1748. Several generations of ancestors and descendants are given.
