Microfilm made of manuscript (16 leaves, typewritten and handwritten) at the City Court House, Petersburg, Virginia; manuscript loaned by Blanche Archer Rinker, granddaughter of Bunbury Archer, and great niece of Henry Archer.

Contains transcripts of (1) 1835/1836 probate of last will and testament of Henry Archer, late of Ballyseskin, in the County of Wexford, Ireland; and (2) 1838 settlement of the intermarriage of Bumbury Archer, esquire, with Maria Ledwith, at Little & E. Bee, Wexford, Ireland. Includes a 1952 newspaper clipping containing an ancestral map of Ireland, locating the promsinent early family surnames in Ireland by the county of origin (the names are listed alphabetically, with a number code to the appropriate county or counties). Also included is a copy of a certification of the Archer coat of arms between 1197 and 1683. A note indicates that Blanche Archer Rinker was the daughter of Henry Archer (d.ca.1898), who immigrated from Ireland to Prince George County, Virginia.
