Notes
Register of Jewish births, marriages, deaths, and adoption of surnames for Märkisch Friedland, Westpreußen, Preußen, Germany; now Mirosławiec, Koszalin, Poland. Jews were required to adopt surnames in 1812. The Märkisch Friedland register includes the adoptions of surnames throughout the province of Westprussia.
