The jurisdiction of this court includes the following localities in Hertford: St. Albans, Chipping Barnet, East Barnet, Bushey, Codicote, Elstree, Hexton, Abbots Langley, St. Michael, Newnham, Northaw, Norton, St. Pauls Walden, St. Peter, Redbourn, Rickmansworth, Ridge, Sarratt, Sandridge, Shephall, St. Stephen, and Watford. It also includes the following localities in Buckingham: Aston Abbots, Granborough, Little Harwood and Winslow.

For probate documents not found in this court, search the records of the next higher jurisdiction: Church of England. Diocese of London. Consistory Court. Probate records 1362-1857.
