William Barnes Adams (1801-1872) was born in Virginia, possibly in Princess Anne or Washington County. His mother was Anna Barnes Adams. William married Martha Larimore (1798-1875) in Stokes County, North Carolina in 1820. Martha, daughter of James Larimore and Caty Morgan Larimore, was born in Virginia, probably in Henry County. They had ten children. Descendants and relatives lived in Missouri, California, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Kansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, Arizona, Minnesota and elsewhere. Supplement also includes descendants and relatives living in Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Nebraska, Colorado, North Carolina, Indiana, Kentucky, California and elsewhere.
