Soundex codes are constructed from the surname. The first letter of the surname becomes the first item of the code. Each consonant is assigned the following numbers: b, p, f, v = 1; c, s, k, g, j, q, x, z = 2, d = 3; l(L) = 4; m, n = 5; r = 6 to bring the total of consonant representatives to three digits. Zeros are added if necessary.

Several certificates appear to be missing from Library's copy for the years 1948-1952 and some certificates are misfiled by a few numbers on either side of proper sequence.

  • The microfilm may be scheduled for future scanning.
  • The microfilm may have been scanned, but have a contractual, data privacy, or other restriction preventing access. FamilySearch makes every effort to enable access dependent on decisions of record custodians and applicable laws.
