Concepción es un departamento en la provincia de Misiones. Su cabecera es la ciudad de Concepción de la Sierra y alberga el municipio de Santa María. El distrito de San José que en el tiempo del censo pertenecía al departamento de Concepción, actualmente pertenece al municipio de Apóstoles.

Contiene el censo de los departamentos de Apóstoles, Cainguás (cabecera es Campo Grande), Candelaria (cabecera es Santa Ana), La Capital (cabecera es Posadas).
