Microfilm of original records in the Allegheny County Courthouse, Pittsburgh, Pa.
The Register of Wills was responsible for registering births up to 1885. The Clerk of Orphans' Court recorded births from 1885 to 1906 and made reports to the State Board of Health.
Some records were microfilmed by Graphic Systems in 1975.
Some retakes appear at the end of each reel.
