Microfilm of original records at the Washington State Archives in Olympia, Washington.

Registers and returns were created by the county auditor in each county.

Includes index in some volumes.

Birth records list name of child, date of birth, place of birth, sex, race, status of birth, name of mother, her age and race, name of father, and his age, race, occupation, and state of birth, date of return and name of person returning information.

Death records lists name of deceased, date of death, age, sex, race, marital status, place of death, cause of death, birthplace, residence, occupation, name of father and mother and their birthplace, and name of person giving death information.

Also includes delayed birth certificates and justification.

Some pages are light or faded and may be difficult to read.
