The Kerns-Jamison Funeral Home is currently known as the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home.

Funeral records give name of deceased, with age, birth and death dates, residence, cause of death, funeral details, attending physician, names of parents, spouse, children and other close family, military service, occupation, etc.

Notices of Removal (of bodies), are prepared by the embalmer for the Iowa State Division of Vital Statistices prior to preparing the body for burial or cremation, and give name of deceased, with death date and place.
