Christopher Nutter was born in about 1640 in England. His father was John Nutter. They emigrated in about 1650. He married Mary Dorman, daughter of John Dorman and Sarah, in 1665 in Northampton County, Virginia. They had six known children. He died in 1703 in Somerset County, Maryland. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and Ohio.
