Carl Werme was born in 1711 in Varmland, Sweden. His parents were Jon Carlsson Werme and Annicka. He married Cathrina Pahlsdotter. Their descendant, Carl Johan Warme (1856-1932) emigrated and settled in Fish Lake, Minnesota. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Sweden, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Includes Warmy, Warmie, Ahl, Mellingen, Ness, Noyd, Noyed, Roufs and related families.
