Chiefly a record of some of the descendants of William Cain. He was born in 1795 in Washington County, South Carolina. He married Mary Polly Mason in 1822 in Pendleton District, South Carolina. She was born in 1805 in Pendleton District, South Carolina. They were the parents of seven children. She died 15 Mar 1883 in Oconee County, South Carolina. He died May 1862 in Oconee County, South Carolina. He had two children with Rebecca Whitfield. She was born ca. 1795 in South Carolina.
