The Fred Harry King Funeral Home was started in 1916 in Norton, Virginia by Fred H. King. He sold the business in 1953. He died in 1960.

Arranged in alphabetical order by the name of the deceased (except for the H's which are found at the back of the book). Gives name of the deceased, birth date, death date, place of death, place of funeral, burial date, burial place, age, race, occupation, marital status, birthplace, spouse's name, parents' names, their birthplaces, physician's name and cause of death.

Includes biographical sketch of Fred H. King.
