"I love Grandma and I always have. I can remember her when I was little. I always loved going over to her house. I guess because of the candy and her kind unconditionally loving spirit. If there is one way to remember her its definitely the great love she had for people.
She was always there for us. Just listening to her talk about her relations with others you could feel the love she had for them.
To list a few more memories I remember her kind service in helping teach children that were less fortunate, her devotion to church and the laughing and smiling with those who needed the strength.
I remember the great job she did in raising such a great Mom for me. I remember her patriotism and dedication to her country and leaders and the list goes on and on.
There are so many wonderful and great things I can remember about Grandma. She has been a tremendous example, more than she knows, I'm sure! I'll always reflect on her example probably more so as I get older
I am thankful for all she has taught me. I am also very grateful I'll be able to see her again because of what Christ has done for me and all of us. I look forward with courage to the day when we all meet again. Grandma, I love you and thank you again for all that you have done. You have lived a wonderful life on earth and are ready to progress in Heavenly Father's great plan of salvation.
Grandma, you are my hero and I will always remember you!
Love, your grandson Darren
P.S. (This was a note to me, Darren's Mom)
You know Mom, I've been thinking Grandma had to be pretty awesome to raise up a sweet little girl that would accept the Gospel and raise five children in it - just a thought - Love, Darren
