For this time period it includes these places: Tonstad, Bakke, Hidra, Kvås, Vanse, Bjelland, Grindheim, Lyngdal, Nes, Feda, Hægebostad, Eiken, Kvinesdal, Farsund, Herad, Spind, Valle, Austad, Konsmo, Spangereid, Vigmostad, Gyland, Laudal, and Fjotland. The probate records usually contain the date of probate, name of the deceased, names of heirs, guardians and trustees, inventory lists, land and holdings, and other miscellaneous information.
