Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Boyer (and variant spellings) families in America. They had Celtic origins, and came mainly from Austria, Bavaria, Bohemia, England, France, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Scotland, Switzerland, and Thuringia. Many were French Protestants and Presbyterians. Some were Palatinate and Huguenot immigrants who came to America in the 1500's-1600's, and settled in Nova Scotia (Canada), Brazil (South America), Maryland, New York, and Virginia. In the 1700's, some immigrated to Quebec (Canada), and to Delaware, Indiana, Louisiana, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia. During the 1800's, some moved to Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Wisconsin. Later descendants and relatives also lived in Ontario (Canada), and in Arizona, California, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Mexico, Washington D.C., and elsewhere.

Includes Baier, Bauer, Bayer, Beier, Beyer, Bier, Bires, Boiarii, Boier, Boii, Borer, Bowyer, Boyea, Boyee, Boyers, Buyers, Byars, Byer, Byerley, Byers, de Boyer, and other variant spellings.
