SOURCE: Oxnard Daily Courier, Wednesday, January 29, 1919 - MISS LILLIAN DAILY BECOMES BRIDE OF ANDREW BORCHARD "One of the most elaborate weddings of the season was solemnized this morning at the country home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles J. Daily near Camarillo, when their eldest daughter, Miss Lillian, became the bride of Andrew J. Borchard, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Borchard.  The ceremony was performed by Father John J. Clifford of Santa Clara parish.  At 10:30 o'clock, after Miss Grace Grubb sang "I Love You Truly," and "O Promise Me" and as Miss Louise Gisler played Lohengren's Wedding March, the bride descended the stairs on the arm of her father.  She was beautiful in a gown of white satin trimmed with seed pearls with a court train.  She wore a long white veil and carried a shower bouquet of lilies of the valley and white orchids. 
 Her only attendant was her sister, Miss Edna Daily, who wore a gown of apricot shade Georgette crepe and taffeta and carried a bouquet of Cecil Brunner roses.  Little Miss Margaret Martin, wearing a light blue frock, strewed rose petals in their path, and Oliver Borchard, in a suit of white satin, carried the ring on a golden tray.  The drawing room was converted into a bridal bower and it was here the bride was met by the bridegroom and his attendant, Raymond Borchard.  A white pergola over twined with plomosis formed the bridal bower and from the top hung massive plants and cages of canary birds enlivening the effect. 
 After congratulations were received by the happy couple an elaborate wedding breakfast was served, covers being laid for over 60 guests in the center of the bride's table was a miniature pergola entwined with plomosis in the center of which stood a tiny bride and groom.  The bride and groom were the recipients of many exquisite and useful wedding presents. The list of invited guests included: Mr. and Mrs J. E. Borchard, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Daily, Mr. and Mrs. E. W.
